 This necklace is inspired by Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”.  Carved gold circles with citrines represent the light emanating from the starlit sky.   A cluster of ten citrine gemstones represent the moon’s subtle shades of yellow as well as its diverse patterns.   A delicate mix of precious metals become the clouds while hammered oxidized silver represents the painting’s delicate brushstrokes.  The contrast of the citrines and the gold shows us that there is always light even in darkness!.
