When first painted, the shades of purple and pink were very dominant in Van Gogh’s “Vase with Irises”.  However, over time the reds faded leaving a canvas predominately showing shades of blue and white.  We have fallen in love with the bluish rainbow that the painting flaunts today.  We chose gemstones in the blue spectrum of colors with asymmetrical and diverse shapes to accentuate the earring’s charm.  Small earrings don’t have to be boring!
